I determine what my goal is!

Mar 7, 2018

Best $114 I ever spent - because I followed the program. This was 2 years ago tomorrow and I feel better today than I ever have!

It got me thinking - my weight loss was pretty consistent. From 3/8 to 9/20 2016 I lost 91 lbs on the scale - some of it was muscle but most of it was fat.

When I reached goal - I was ecstatic. I bought a whole new wardrobe. I started working more towards my strength training and fitness goals. My weight today ranges pretty consistently between 185-195. I auto post it all over the web! http://dag.fyi/WeightEntries

I’m proud of my data! This is a lifestyle I can agree to. It provides me a real plan that balances all aspect of my life.

When I look back at photos of me making goal, I think I look too thin. I like how I look today so I just keep being me! The wardrobe I purchased back then still fits - because I’ve changed my body composition and I’m not adding in the fat.

In the beginning I was hyper focused on losing weight. I’ve now come to understand that meant I was losing muscle AND fat. As I rebuild my muscle tone, I have a better understanding of the journey, and if I had it to do over again, I’d opt for less cardio, more protein, more food to ensure that the weight loss was FAT loss.

It’s not about the scale - it’s ONE datapoint and if you put all your effort into that one data point - you could be doing more harm than good.

I’m mentally strong. I’m all in. It’s why my scale range now is what I’ve chosen - to satisfy ME, not to satisfy a scale or a program.

I’m at Goal. Because I said so!
