Getting Focused

One of the hardest things we will ever do is change a habit.  Regardless of what that habit is.  In order to call it a habit, that means it's something we do on a regular basis.  Over Eating, Stress Eating, Binge Eating, Smoking, Cursing or all kinds of other things fall into this category.

As we shift our focus to a healthy lifestyle, we need to change a lot of those habits - by staying focused - I mean laser focused - is not easy - but it is critical.

A great friend of mine Chris, just recently introduced me to the Law of Attraction, also referred to as Syncronicity, a term I knew but didn't fully embrace properly.   The law of attraction says whatever you focus on, you attract.  So if you remain positive, positive energy will begin to come your way more often.

It's significantly more detailed than this, but for the sake of brevity I want to give you a tool to help you stay focused, without boring you to death.  Watch how the law of attraction and synchronicity remind you that you are on the right path. A path to a better you!

Look at your weight loss journey.  How many pounds have you lost currently?  What is your first weight goal?  Pick a number.  If you've lost 15lbs use 15.  If your goal is 145 pick 145.   The number isn't as critical as the focus. Find a number that means something to you!

Now that you have that number - concentrate on it.  Begin looking to see how often that number shows up in your life.  A license plate on the car that just drove by you, will end in your number - or begin with your number.   

Your cash register receipt will have a number sequence that will contain your number.  The mileage on your car will have that number.  Your daily steps will reveal that number, It will suddenly appear everywhere as you shift your focus to you.
